Inspired by talk of Curlew Sands (see Richard's post below) I nipped down to Kilpaison, Angle Bay this morning..........................5 Oystercatcers and a G C Grebe.
Over at the Lodge things were buzzing..........17 Oystercatchers and 5 Mallards.
At St Govan's pretty quite too - a few Whitethroats, including one poser and a pair of Stonechats. Perhaps tomorrow for the Curlew Sand!
Sighting via e mail from John Morgan - Saw much the same birds as you at Canaston woods this morning, but also saw two pairs of spotted flycatchers collecting materials for a nest, one pair in the woods and the other near Blackpool mill.
