or... Scarecrows to Ringlets!!

I persuaded Adrian to explore in the rain, so fully prepared we quickly found ourselves amongst the Scarecrows of Llangwm! ..much to Adrian's amusement ( he was unaware of the village's scarecrows!)
Up to a dozen Redshank being found, quieter than hoped, but not at HT.
The walk to Fowborough Point was equally pretty bird-free, but we did see & disturb from the the grass many 10's if not 100's of Ringlet butterflies, quite happy to be on the wing, in a break in some pretty awful weather, a couple of Meadow Browns too.
Curlew seemed to be well spread out on the mud, a few BH Gulls & Shelduck. As above, quieter than hoped, but not at HT., & an early look for waders on the move. Too early!
