Silver - washed Fritillary

These very large fritillaries were showing well today, in woodside meadows along the river Nevern. Park in the Salutation car-park, and walk west downstream along the footpath, go past the water treatment works and look around the brambles in the meadow through the gate.
Remember this is not a public car- park, & the butterflies are not likely to be seen unless it is sunny, warm, & not usually before 1100.
