Slebech swallow roost

At least 50 birds over the roost reed bed at 2130 last night. Also one common sand. on the pumping station 'pond' (tide high). With Richard D's thankyou in mind, one kingfisher flew down stream from a bit below Llys y Fran dam on 4/06 - my first record of k'fisher on this river and I am through there regularly.

Interesting nesting obs. for blue tits at L-y-F: My boxes just below the damn were a week behind those using boxes in recently opened up oak woodland at the top end of the Res. and productivity was noticeably lower.
