Mecca & the North

On the subject of Mecca (the Teifi), c 3hrs before DJA announced his visit with a phone call, I discovered JG himself peering over my shoulder into a moth trap! Almost as rare a sighting!
I know last month we attracted a ringer from Malta, & also yesterday Radnor's most active birder/ringer(PLe) for the w/e.

Is this summer madness, or the north is the place to be, sightings of more southern birders in Fishguard Harbour yesterday too!!

Is the new northern hotspot of Llangloffan Fen already forgotten? Reports welcome.
