Fishguard Harbour;-
This evening at last the first Med. Gull( 1st sum.) of the late summer passage!
Also Redshank.(Adrian)

Teifi;-
CES ringing this am produced not a large number, only 70 birds,... but Quality!
The highlight a ringed Sedge Warbler bearing a PARIS number, our 5th international control this spring/summer.!!
Not to be outdone, 4 Cettis this am, 2 juv. males, another new adult male, & a breeding female.
Janet Atkinson joined us today to help with the mothing,... & time for a little excercise.
The weight of a new Chiffchaff (6.7g) compared to our largest moth.. a Privet Hawkmoth(1.9g)
Also a Silky Wainscot trapped ,...6 previous county records.

Yesterday at Jewsons, 3 Common Sandpipers. Around the length of the Teifi c100 Black-headed Gulls now. 2 creches each of 5 juv. Shelduck could be found.
