Fishguard Harbour:-
1 Black Guillemot feeding by the dredger early am, this appears to be a favourite spot.

1 ad Common Gull with 35 BH Gulls off the Webley midday.

1 Little Egret on the marshes early this am.(Sunday)

Storm Petrels;-
A session at The Deer Park during the night, netted a total of c65 new birds & 1 control (a fairly new ring). This was the best total for a session (2.5 hrs) for quite a few years.

If weather becomes reliable , we may be able to "advertise " Storm Petrel ringing nights for birders to come & see these birds in the hand.?????

Chiffchaffs & Blackcaps;-
Ringing yesterday(27/6) at Braces (Pwllcrochran) caught 23 Chiffs & 18 Blackcaps out of 109 birds.
At Kilpaisson (20/6)13 Chiffs, 15 Blackcaps, & 13 C. Whitethroats out of 131 birds.
At Kilp. (13/6) 46 Chiffs, 22 Blackcaps.
As nearly all these birds are juv's, I guess these "early " breeding warblers haven't done bad?
