Info Post
At Kilpaison this morning as the tide started to drop I spent a pleasant couple of hours sat in the warmth of the car watching and photographing the birds in the sunshine with a couple of brief snow flurries to add drama to the scene. Birds pretty much as in recent visits - 25 Brent Geese (including, it would seem, a Dark Bellied Bird), c.30 Bar Tailed Godwits, 400+ Dunlin, 10 Redshank, 2 Knot, 12 Curlew, 1 Little Egret, lots of Wigeon, 6 Great Crested Grebe. 1 Adult Med Gull.
Round at Angle Harbour, 8 Redshank, c.30 Dunlin. A word of caution - don't drive too far down the shingle spit. I did  & got stuck in some soft stuff and had to be towed out by an extremely nice man with a 4x4 who lives in one of the nearby Cottages. Many thanks!
After the excitement just had a quick look at Castlemartin Corse to note that the Crane is still in the usual place. Also a Peregrine sat on a post.
