Bird Conference & Angle

An excellent Pembrokeshire Bird Conference today at the Chevron Refinerywith talks on  the recently published Birds of Ceredigion, Nightjars, The Shetlands, Tracking Seabirds and a Trip to India as well as a quiz and a round up of the birds seen in Pembrokeshire in the last year. Well done and thanks to all the speakers and those who organised the event.
As it was on the doorstep I popped down to Kilpaison at lunchtime where there were 17 Brents, 27 Bar tailed Godwits, 2 Sanderling, 12 Redshank and an impressive 400+ Dunlin as well as several hundred Wigeon.
