Young kestrel on fencepost beside track, 2 others above quarries at same time. Later Male kestrel hovering on the high path. 4 GS woodpecker, pair and two singles flying over. 5 jays. Group of 3 Wheatear. 2 stonechat. Swallows and pipits on top ridge. 2 ravens. A Red kite dropped into the paddock beside car park, 4 crows moved it on, it then cruised low over the area beneath car park flushing the wheatears and a large flock of pipits before drifting over the quarries and out of sight.
