Dale & St. Ann's

A quick scoot around early this morning with PG. Gann very quiet, 4 Ringed Plover, 1 Dunlin, 1 Redshank & 1 Whimbrel. On to the airfield, just 2 Curlew & 10+ Wheatear. St. Ann's was better, with 25 Ringed Plover & 4 Dunlin in the recently sown field at the sharp bend at Kete. Further down towards the head a wader seen briefly in flight over another recently sown field may have been interesting....Buff-breasted Sandpiper a possibility (though it may just have been a poorly seen Golden Plover!), off back this afternoon for another look.
