Info Post

In a mere two and a half hours we Strumblers amassed  several Balearic Shearwaters a couple of Sooties, thousands of Manxies (so good to see them fit and coping with the elements),  scores of Skuas, (all four species), Sabines Gulls, Leaches Peterels, a couple of Black Terns, loads of Gannets Auks, Kittiwakes, etc.

A dozen Ravens flew over my head as I left the bleak bunker and climbed back to my car. Just as I began to unload my car I heared Choughs. Grabbing my camera I was amazed to see an angry mob twenty six strong, following another one which was mobbing a big female peregrine!!!

I have been thrilled, amazed and astounded by Peregrines for over forty years but never before seen such a wierd bit of behaviour. All this in two and a half hours, Strumble really does the business on occasions. I only wish I was a good enough photographer to do it justice!!
