Sandpipers at Llys y Fran

Levels pretty high. Common sandpiper along edge of first field on east side (no fishermen today) - Green sandpiper up passed the hide beside the picnic table. 3 possibly 4 Little grebe, 6-7 GC grebe. Dozen or so herons sheltering from the drizzle along the west bank. Quite a bit of fly life and a few more butterflies on the wing than of late. Chiffchaffs and willow warblers picking through the bushes. Both willow and marsh tits calling.
