Info Post
A lovely Short-eared Owl quartering the Mere this evening, and a male Gadwall with at least 5 young. Sash had seen the male Garganey earlier, and another observer had recorded the Black Duck.

At the Gann a first-summer Black-headed Gull (my first there in a few visits), a Little Egret, 12 Dunlin, 11 Ringed Plover & a Turnstone. No sign of the Little Stint or the Ruff, but the tide was extremely high and no Oyestercatchers were visible either so must have bee pushed somewhere else.
