Teifi & ...Lapwings

Teifi ;-
08:30 this am, 2 Black-tailed Godwits from the Railings. On Patch, also Poppit a couple of times, a mobile flock, 5 Sanderling, 16 Dunlin, 11 Ringed Plover.
(These birds present night before, fri. Wendy).

Newport;-
1 Dunlin, & 1 Redshank.

Lapwings;-
Greg(Ramsey RSPB) asked how our Kilpaison birds were doing.
Poor !!
Start of breeding season 11 birds present in bunds. 2 pairs formed & moved to nearby fields to attempt breeding,....failed due to farming. The rest did not appear to settle, no nesting behaviour seen & at present 1 female, but not apparently breeding.
John was going to have another good look but getting late!
