Crane - late news, but......

I bumped into Mr Watkins - the farmer at Gupton Farm (Castlemartin Corse-Freshwater West) - this morning, who adequately described a Crane (a tall grey bird about four feet tall that flew with its long neck stretched out in front of it and its legs trailing behind) that had been feeding on the farm for a few days last week. Says he last saw the bird four days ago and that it moved between the fields next to the Corse and the weedy stubbles near the main car park at Freshwater West. Worth being aware of I guess, just in case it is still hanging around locally.
