-- Well done Paddy for getting a great new Constant Effort Site up & running in Wales, with some nationally important species now being monitored there. -- Who would have thought that over 100 Redpolls could be ringed there in one season?
A party of 6 Crossbills around the main track in Glynaeron, with a cracking red male perched atop ignoring the others for c5 mins.
Rosebush Resr;-
5 Goldeneye, 9 Tufted Duck.
Near Newport GC, 6 Brambling regularly coming to a tree top with c100 mixed finch mainly Linnets.
c 1 mile East(of above) c10% of a 200/250 strong finch flock were Brambling, this time the majority Chaffinch, feeding near a Winter store cattle shed.
