An excellent morning's birding before the weather changed - highlight was a Woodlark that flew over calling it's head off at 10:00

Also on the move there was - 57 Woodpigeons (first flocks of the autumn), 275 Skylarks, 30 Blue Tits, 28 Long-tailed Tits, 8500 Starlings, 75 Chaffinches, 4 Bramblings, 1 Snow Bunting & 6 Lapland Buntings

In the valleys there was 1 Great Spotted Woodpecker, 60 Blackbirds, 20 Song Thrushes, 2 ringtail Hen Harriers and the first 2 Woodcocks of the autumn
