Info Post
Highlight of my WeBS count at Hook/Sprinkle Pill today was an impressive flock of 590 Golden Plover - try as I might I couldn't make one of them into an American (or Pacific!). The sound they made was superb. Other highlights included 4 Grey Plover, 3 Knot, 110 Redshank, 37 Lapwing, 5 Greenshank and 83 Dunlin. Surprisingly not a single Grey Heron or Little Egret.

A toodle around some Dale/Marloes sites between the showers this afternoon revealed little, except a single Jack Snipe on Dale Airfield at the pond, it gave excellent close flight views but I could not get a view of it on the ground! A Common Snipe here too. 2 Chiffchaff this evening at Nine Wells.
