Possible Bittern

Following on from Lyndon's report on 21 October we have been contacted by  Bill Evans who saw a bird on Sunday morning (23rd) which sounds pretty much like a Bittern  at blackbridge pill, on the upstream side of the road, and just underneath the road. Bill advises that it flew off, following the river upstream towards Steynton.
