Info Post
After the heavy rain of the last few days it was not surprising to see large patches of flooding in Castlemartin Corse this morning. A few Mallard have already found the water and no doubt they will be joined by more wildfowl and waders in the next few weeks.
Just past Gumpton Farm above Freshwater West there was a flock of 200+ finches, mainly Chaffinches but with a few Greennfinches and some House Sparrows mixed in. Down by the car park large numbers of Starlings and Skylarks, a few Linnets and Reed Buntings, all kept on the alert by a Peregrine which passed at speed before disappearing from view.
