Bittern

Or perhaps, given that it's only mid October (i.e. much earlier than we usually get them), that we've had a run of westerlies, we should be seriously checking this out on the off-chance that it is an American Bittern....always expect the unexpected (there was one last October in Cornwall, and don't forget the corpse found on St. David's Airfield the year before....). Anyone going to check this out tomorrow?
