Still present at 14:00, in the same stubbble field as yesterday,and as earlier today. However, the bird is seldom viewable from the road above the Corse, as c.9/10ths of this field is obscured by a tall hedge.

Alternative viewing instructions:

All of the stubbles at Gupton Farm (including the one favoured by the bird) can be seen from the small car park on the hill at Freshwater West - so turn left off the B4320 on the B4319 to Freshwater West and park in the small car park on the right as you go down the hill (at SR885997).

The bird was distant, but constantly visible, from this location at lunchtime. The stubble favoured by the Crane is to the extreme left of your field of view as you look back east from the car park, and above the open water visible in the Corse.
