Dale Airfield deathly quiet on the runways. At The Hookses a Black Redstart on the roofs and a few Pipits and Skylarks in the potato field by the car park.
At Marloes Mere early afternoon a ringtail Hen Harrier flew past after a 90 minute wait hotly pursued by 3 or 4 Ravens & Crows. They showed it no mercy and it eventually flew high and headed off towards Skomer. Also seen a Peregrine in the distance putting up Lapwings and Starlings and a Sparrowhawk flew across the marsh. Plenty of Shoveller and Teal on the water with a few Wigeon, Mallard and Gadwall. Also a couple of Snipe and 1 Water Rail. (Rich C & Morris N)
