The Rose-coloured Starling & the Wryneck were still around the farm today, but otherwise it was pretty quiet.
There's a load of migrant insects around as well -
Yesterday I saw 5 darters, the first ones I'd seen this year. I only got a good look at 2 of them & my good friend Steve Waite has identified them as Red-veined Darters for me
Still getting loads of migrant moths as well - up to about 20 Vestals now, 1 Cosmopolitan, 1 Gem, and 2 little micro-moths called Hymenia recurvalis - they used to be really rare but I think they've become a bit more regular in recent years
