Teifi & nearby...

From the Railings;-
Mid morning, 3 Black-tailed Godwits, 1 Sanderling, 20 Dunlin, c8 Ringed Plover. Also 1 Whimbrel calling, likely from the Golf Course.
Jewsons;-
10 Juv. Shelduck, I think this is what we have left out of 4 broods so far. Also this am 3 Foxes present on each side of the river here, so the Shelduck are likely to take a real hammering !!

Sand Martins;-
A visit to one of the operational quarries produced a count of c60 active holes, after I discovered a newly occupied face this year.(this face with 57 holes). The heads of juv's pearing out of several holes. Like usual, no sign of LRP's at this seemingly perfect site, if you were in Eastern England!
Also Yellowhammer on wires.
