At Angle Harbour this morning with the tide up there was a good number of waders roosting on the shingle spit - 45 Barwits, c.80 Dunlin, 40+ Knot, 10 Ringed Plovers. A couple of the Barwits showing signs of summer plumage with an orangey tinge. Also 19 Brent Geese, and 50 Wigeon on the spit.
1 Little Egret and 8 Redshank with a few Curlew also around the harbour.
At Freshwater West a really good count of 74 Grey Plover roosting on the rocks.
Good numbers of Goosander and Tufted still at Bosherston and at Pembroke Mill Pond there are now 4 Scaup.
