We know there are a lot of interesting records that are put on the blog, but don't make it into BirdTrack or the BTO atlas. There may be several reasons for this, one of which is that there may be some of you who don't quite know what a tetrad is, or if you do, you may not be confident as to where each tetrad boundary is.
So, I am willing to provide maps of tetrads to enable you to find your way around, encourage you to put records onto BirdTrack or the BTO atlas, or to get out and make a species list for tetrads that don't have may records yet.
And of, course, to encourage you to input your existing records if you haven't already done so.
Choose which 10km sq you are interested in from the map below, and I'll send you the tetrad map. Email rushmoor1@tiscali.co.uk
Alternatively, look at the GridRat to get a tetrad reference - you can zoom in to a 1:50,000 OS map or closer there.
