Was fortunate enough to notice a Bittern assuming alarm posture (see pic) in the reedbed near Broadhaven Beach this morning, otherwise the usual wildfowl present, with Goosander and Gadwall most prominent.
Yesterday, at least two Hen Harriers (male and female) and a Short-eared Owl were at Dowrog Common late afternoon (the SEO was flying from 16:45, and the Harriers started arrive at c.17:05).
Also yesterday, the four Whooper Swans and two Bewick's Swans were still present at Kete.
