Now the fields are frozen again, have the gulls gone back to the coast? c300Black-headed Gulls, a sprinkling of Common Gulls and no more than 200 LBB Gulls with a few Herring Gulls.
To finish in the gloom, the seemingly bizarre synchronized swimming & diving of 5 Little Grebe as they rapidly moved in very tight formation across & through the water..........also 20 Goosander in the western arm.
