Crundale

On our way back from Fishguard Harbour (Red-throated Diver, Slavonian Grebe, Little Grebe and a large rat) this evening were driving along the Old School Lane behind Haverfordwest Airport when a Short-eared Owl flew over. A little way down the lane, just before it joins the B4329 Cardigan Road, a Jack Snipe flew out of the ditch and landed about 15 feet in front of the car, staying for about 3 minutes before flying off.
